u will fill out a ton of paperwork & then watch videos for about two hours & then take a test on the computer.

of which about 75% of the time u r being told how wonderful the kohls credit card is. which is a bunch of bull.


l have workled clothing retial for 11 years & l have been very suuceesful at selling credit cards, however, that is ur main job there, NOT customer service, also they pay u a whopping 50 cents LMAO for every app that u get.

POS Associate: training on registers/basic store stuff. video/test/role playing - they just started a new program called GREAT - which has to do with getting credits & emails from customers.

Floor associate: general video on store policies. quiz. ect. all associates r suppsoed to be register trained.

The other person sounds a bit disgruntled. emphasis on the bit. Kohl is only solicits credit to lower costs of allowing use of major credit cards, since each transaction means kohls forks money to visa/mc/discover/amex.

all new employees have been doing some sort of scavenger hunt too im not sure if thats a corporate or local management thing.

you should wear normal work clothes depending on ur position. floor/pos associate should be normal dress clothes.
