l want a job in the medical field but l dont wanna work with blood. What options do l have? are there any jobs that arent exactly repetitive, that require you to do something different each day??

Well im 21 and will b attending College Jan 09 and my major is Rad-tech. ( l wanted to b a nurse but l cnt deal with all the blood lol)

In the pharmacy feild there is no blood involved , l know that as a fact!

As has been mentioned most pharmacy personnel rarely if ever r exposed to blood or blood products. But to say never is not accurate. Clinical Pharmacists r often on units & may be exposed to blood. Radiology Personnel who think that a person coming in needing an X-Ray to find the bullet location, must think that trauma & gunshot patients do not bleed. The truth is, Radiology personnel r frequently exposed to blood if they r in a hospital environment.

If u work in a patient care occupation of any kind, there is some chance that u will be exposed to blood. Some areas have more exposure than others, but the chance is always there.

Health care administration positions, such as administrators, billing, coding, ethicist, etc usually do not get exposed to the clinical situations where they would have blood exposure.

But the plain & simple fact is that health care means taking care of people, & they have this habit of bleeding on occasion.
