l recently joined this website and appears to be a very good opportunity.However; l am interested in hearing from other people is experience with this site.l need info from people that is or has been a member of such site, Providers or Buyers:

• How is this website compared to a regular job when talking about earnings?
• How much money did you average per week/month?

l will appreciate any information and/or experience you can share with me.

Points will be awarded to the person that provides me with the most relevant and helpful information.

l am a stay at home mom (for 2 years) & joined oDesk as a way to make money from home. My career experience is in the HR/Payroll fields with over 8 years combined experience including; master reporting, Database creation & analysis, & Webmaster. l also have experience with newsletter creation & article writing.

When it comes to earnings this has been my experience: Every job that l have applied for (+20): everything from data entry to virtual assistance - has always gone to someone who will do it for $3.00 or less per hour. There is usually an average of 85 applicants each for this type of job.

l refuse to work for that little - u might as well be volunteering (which l already do!)

l do wish u better luck. Maybe oDesk is better geared for people working in a different field.
