Would medical transcription/radiology be a good field for me? How about Administrative Assistant? What is the future of medical transcription? Any suggestions would be helpful.
l put radiology/medical transcription together, because they are both in the health care field. l did not mean to confuse anyone.

l am not sure why you have medical transcription and radiology lumped together, but anyway, being introverted does not fit in radiology - we deal with patients all day every day.

At any rate, medical transcription could be a good career for you. Sometimes u will have to call a physician to ask about something, but not often -- not even an average of 1 call a day.
Medical transcription is far from going completely to voice recognition, as there r a lot of improvements to be made. Even then, transcriptionists will be doing the editing instead of the transcription, after that, so l see it being a stable career for a looong time to come.

EDIT: Oh, ok. Well if u r introverted, l do not think you'd enjoy radiology. They spend their day dealing with patients, touching them to help get them in the right position, etc.
