ex: Times New Roman 12 font?
whats a cover letter. l was not asked to do a cover letter.

l believe Times New Roman would seem best fitting since it is the general type and 12 font is the size where it should be.
When picking paper make sure it is a denser more thicker kind of white or ivory paper

l use Arial with a size 14 font, l would not go with less than a size 10 font, then it becomes too small. Write up ur resume, print it out with several different fonts & take a look at it. It should not be too small or too big. Pick the one u think looks the best. As for paper use 25, 30, 35 weight in a white, off white, egg shell, almond, pearl or ghost gray color. l used Hammermill inkjet paper 24 lb, 96 brightness, since that was all l could find, but my resumes look great on it. You can get that paper at Walmart or Target. Oh, do not forget ur cover letter.
A cover letter is to introduce yourself & sell the employer on how well our specific skills, abilities & attributes match what they need, what they r looking for. Not all employers will ask for a cover letter, but it is always good to have one on hand for the specific job u r applying for. If u apply online for a job at a companys website, most will ask for a cover letter.
